
Ness’s Story
I’m a Positive Psychology practitioner and accredited coach, helping women navigating change in life or work, to rediscover and rebuild their clarity, confidence, and purpose.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based tools proven to strengthen the psychological resources that shape wellbeing - from purpose and engagement to resilience and emotional regulation. Think of it like a personal trainer for your mind and your whole self - not just your muscles.
I founded THRIIVE after my own turning point at 50, during the pandemic. I had just sold a business I’d invested a decade in. I thought I’d feel elated. Instead, perimenopause, shifting roles, and a sudden loss of identity left me wondering who I was without the structures I’d built.
Returning to the research - and applying proven interventions from Positive Psychology, resilience, and wellbeing science - I rebuilt my foundations. I experimented, noticed what worked, and turned those practices into sustainable habits. Over time, I didn’t just feel like myself again - I felt stronger and clearer than before.
That’s why I created THRIIVE: to make these tools accessible to women navigating change, bringing the science out of the lab and into everyday life.

The THRIIVE Methodology
Two key principles from the science of happiness shape everything we do at THRIIVE:
1. Happiness takes intentional action. It doesn’t just happen. It comes from informed, active choices.
2. Happiness is multi-layered. When you understand the elements that make up your wellbeing, you can focus on the ones that matter most to you, and then life feels richer, steadier, and more aligned.
To make this science practical, THRIIVE is powered by the BEMOREME framework which has seven research backed elements. Think of them as “psychological muscles” that, when strengthened, improve overall wellbeing, wellthinking and growth. It’s a simple, memorable way to see where you’re already strong and where to focus next.
Every THRIIVE programme uses BEMOREME as a guide, so you can track your progress, build the habits that matter most, and make change that actually sticks.
